WORRIES
October 22, 2017Do you remember the Bobby McFerrin’ song "Don't Worry, Be Happy"?
We care and
worry a lot. We worry about money, work, love, marriage, children, parents . .
.. Do you need more? Just think of anything, and you’ll immediately find
someone around you that worries a lot about that particular thing.
So did John. He worried a lot, about each and everything, and one day, he came up with a brilliant idea, to hire Jack to worry about things John used to worry. Jack was supposed to worry about all unpleasant things that were part of John’s life. And John was paying a fortune to Jack, just to worry instead of him. When John was asked: How’s the life? Is Jack worrying well instead of you? John answered: Yes! And where do you find money to pay him such a high fee?
Well – said John,
this is my biggest worry at the moment.
Worry spent
a lot of emotional energy. Have you ever analyzed how such a small part of the
thing we always worry actually happens? According to some surveys 40% of the
things we worry about do not happen at all; 30% of the worries are related to
the past and there is nothing we can do about it, it cannot be changed; 12% of
the worries are focused on other people, we worry about, and that is none of
our business. Only 8% of the things we worry about are real worries.
Our lives
are focused around the society. This is where all the worries come from. We are
overburden with negative aspects. Just think. How all the news start? And have
you noticed the concept of the TV news? They start with brief of what are they
going to talk about, followed by commercials that makes you think how fat you
are for example, then, they are telling you the bad news in details, then again
commercials, and at the end, they are repeating what they have just told you.
Any good news? Rarely.
You may
worry a lot if you think you must. But instead, wouldn’t be better to listen to
a good music, to bake a cake, or dance? Make a difference between I MUST and I
WANT!
You may
worry a lot, if you think you want to, but you don’t have enough time….instead,
drink a cold beer, take a walk, enjoy the nature, go out with some friends and
laugh a lot.
Have you
seen the happiness in children’s eyes? Do you remember that feeling? It is easy
to forget. But very difficult to take it back.
We are all passengers
in the life. And before we die, we live a series of lives. But the best we can
hope for is that we will never give up. The life may not be fair, but it is up
to us how we see it. One day, we will be gone. But the Sun will still rise on
East and set on West. And by then, we have to live the moments.
We all have
a vision for our future, and at the same time, we travel through life with our
memories. And, we are stuck somewhere in between.
And this is
the essence of life. That's why, don’t worry, be happy.
